Consultant, Business & Operational Efficiency

Damas Engineering is an IT outsourcing and Digital Transformation company operating in Italy and four other countries. Specializing in providing digital transformation services, the company caters specifically to the banking and insurance sector.

About the Role:

As a Consultant in Business and Operational Efficiency, you will be responsible for defining, executing, and overseeing process review and optimization exercises for our client in Turkey. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a background in process improvement, ideally within international companies, particularly in the banking or insurance sector.


  • Process Review and Optimization: Define, execute, and control a comprehensive review of all key processes within the client’s organization. Identify areas of expertise and improvement opportunities.

  • Understanding Operating Model: Quickly grasp the company’s operating model and understand the roles and functions of each department within the organization.

  • Analytical Data Gathering: Utilize strong analytical skills to gather and assess data, determining the productivity levels of each department and their contributions towards the company’s objectives.

  • Report Generation: Collect data, perform in-depth analysis, and generate comprehensive reports

    regarding the overall health of the client’s processes and practices.

  • Client Engagement and Data Collection: Engage with the client’s local teams, comprehensively

    understanding their operational methods, gathering insights and data to enhance analysis and formulate conclusions.


  • Native Turkish speaker with proficient English skills.

  • 5+ years’ experience in process improvement, preferably within international companies, with a

    focus on the banking or insurance sector.

  • Experience in B2B Insurance or bankassurance

  • Autonomous and proactive individual capable of independent work.

  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively with all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to work from Istanbul or travel to Istanbul daily.

      Reporting Structure:

      This role will report directly to the Country Head in Turkey while functioningally reporting to the CEO.
